1958

Founded by I. R. Kapoor,
Chromewell began its journey as an electroplating unit in Mumbai.

2003

Expansion to Pune  Shifted our manufacturing plant from Mumbai to Pune 882/1 which became registered office of Pune, marking the beginning of a new phase of growth and operational expansion.

2015

New Plant Inauguration –Dewas  Successfully inaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Dewas to strengthen production capabilities and regional presence.

2017

Entry into Global Steering Technology
CEPL further diversified by forming a joint venture with the Italian CORAM Group, creating CORAM Chromewell India Private Limited.

2024

New Plant Inauguration – Pune  Expanded operations further with the inauguration of a new manufacturing plant in Pune.

2025

In-House Powder Coating Facility  Established a dedicated paint shop in Pune for in-house powder coating, enhancing quality control and manufacturing efficiency. A new manufacturing plant in Pune.

Our History

1958

Chromewell was established as Chromewell Industries Private Limited, marking the beginning of the company’s journey in the engineering and manufacturing sector with a strong focus on quality and innovation.

2011

The company expanded its operations under the name Chromewell Engineering Private Limited with a manufacturing facility in Sanaswadi, Pune, strengthening its production capabilities and presence in the industry.

2015

Chromewell further expanded its manufacturing footprint by starting operations in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, enhancing its capacity to serve a growing customer base across regions.

2017

The company entered into a strategic joint venture with Coram to form Coram Chromewell India Private Limited, combining expertise and resources to deliver advanced engineering solutions and broaden its market reach.
