Marketing Asst. Manager/Dy.Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product costing including material cost, process cost, Laser Cutting, Bending, Forming, Welding.
- Costing for RFQ received from various customers based on Customer specific requirements
- Estimation and costing of Press Tools, Press Components and negotiation with customer & vendor.
- Preparing Quotation for new items as per customer Norms
- Price settlements with OEM Customers.
- Responsible for New product development (Sheet Metal, Fabricated Assy., press brake parts)
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, CAD files, tooling and material specifications.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, supervisors, vendors and employees
- Reviewing the sequence of operations for the stamping parts of received RFQ with tool makers and internal CFT team.
- Co-ordination of all manufacturing activities both internal and suppliers.
- Check & execute day to day activities of team leaders with respect to time line to customer.
- Value engineering activities for process, material cost savings
- Costing for components, Development of blank sizes, weight calculations, Process sequence & Tool development.
- Cost Negotiations, comparison and finalization with customers
- Accelerating and monitoring the process of Component development by dealing with vendors regarding various issues in development of components, quality matters, and supplies.
- ECN implementations and price settlement
- The AM pursues strategic new business opportunities as detailed in divisional summary shared with Chromewell.
- Compiles and presents findings related to Capacity Analysis of company. Offers best business practices solutions to achieve exceptional EBIT, exceptional ROFE, and when possible, 15% annual growth.
- Ensures that customer goals, specifications and requirements for are met during pre-award stage.
- Supports manufacturing regarding any aspect of commercial or engineering agreements made to secure business.
- Supports the organization with data and data analysis.
- Assures that all goals for new customer projects are met and escalate deviations.
- Business travel to support duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare and present all customer specific paperwork.
- Responsible for customer Purchase Orders (initiation, tracking, closure, issue resolution and payment).
- Manage timelines of requested quotations.
- Attend all customer-relevant meetings both internal and external.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Drive projects and production schedules.
- Work closely with the other Marketing head, Engineering Manager, and Program Manager to secure profitable new business and in being indispensable to our customer (Getting every contract we truly want).
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with current customers utilizing and understanding specific customer’s systems and processes.
- Prepare and present new business proposals to Chromewell and customers as required.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all program aspects (bill of materials, piece price, invest, etc…)
- Prepare accurate and prompt cost calculations, ensuring the commercial success of the program.
- Lead/manage all cost related issues with current customers and negotiate favorable terms, conditions,
and premises on quotations.
MEASURABLES
- Order Booking Targets in line with BP
- Agreed KPI.
- Documented pricing and contractual agreements between Chromewell and Customer.
- Preparing business case models Chromewell Management.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Proficient in: Concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions;
- Standard Costing Techniques;
- Financial transactions and concepts
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5-12 years’ Experience in BD & Marketing Costing
- BE/DME
- Auto Cad, Catia, Forming Suite
